I can’t remember if I ever mentioned that we moved to a new place. In case I didn’t, I’m going to mention it now: we moved from the vicinity of Oslo roughly 2 1/2 to 3 hours North. This happened in the beginning of June. No we live in a calm small city by a beautiful lake. Such an inspiring and idyllic place to be!
I finally had the time to set up my studio in an extra room we had in the apartment. It is a smaller room but it is a room none the less. Now I don’t need to work in the living room and bother my wife while she is doing whatever she is doing during the day. Also being scorched by the Sun was not all that much fun when the temperature rises up to 30°C with no wind. The best part about having a dedicated room for work at home is that you can treat it as a work place. All work related stays in there and when you leave the room, you leave the work in the room and your free time begins.
Anyhow, that was a good while ago.
For the last few months I've been working and waiting a good deal. The last 20 minutes of programming is underway for André Øvredal's upcoming fantasy adventure Mortal. I finished the score for Magic Number 12, a short film by Nadina Helen Bakos. I took a game music gig from a Mexican independent developer Eugenio Roman, it will be so much fun with that. Also I will be working on a and independent horror film for the next month or so for Geir Greni. In addition there is a number of private projects filling the holes where ever they are. All this to say that much is happening.
At the same time, I am waiting on art for a couple of film scores I wrote in school so I can publish them.
I hope all is well with you all!
Have a happy day,
